I’ve discovered that I must make friends with silence.

I’ve learned that when my fuse is short,

I must control the explosions.

When my thoughts travel to unexplored places,

I need to slow down;

take time.

Look around.

I must make friends with silence.

Come to terms with the fact

That the answer will unfold

In the moment when it arrives.

When my thoughts travel to unexplored places,

I need to slow down;

take time.

and listen…

For silence holds lessons too.

When my thoughts travel,

I can’t jump to conclusions

or engage the illusions.

Keep perspective.

Aim straight,

for the objective.

Even if the destination

is on a winding road.

When my thoughts travel to unexplored places,

I need to slow down;

take time,

and feel

For emotion and sensation

hold their parts

in the presentation.

It’s all part of the design.

When my thoughts travel to unexplored places,

I need to slow down;

take time,

to breathe in

Remembering to exhale

When my thoughts travel to unexplored places,

I need to slow down;

savor flavor;

tasting what is offered.

Now is not the time to close down

and surrender.

Now is the time

to be open,

EXPOLRE!
