Looking for Reason

Back to a simpler time

Before I looked for reason

within the rhyme.

Ideas collide.

Untarnished by judgement and pride

Free expression

is my mission.

I move forward

unprotected.

Soul exposed,

for all to see.

look away

if you feel

you must.

There’s a

matter of

understanding and trust.

I no longer want to be cloaked in

shadow.

Hiding away from

the light of day.

Afraid of what others may think

I pause for a moment, and miss

what happens in the blink of an eye.

The scene unfolds

and in stillness

meaning is revealed.
